ATLANTA - According to the most recent deal struck by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on June 4, Kazakhstan will continue reducing its oil production by 78,000 barrels per day through the end of 2024.
Participating nations, including Kazakhstan, resolved to extend oil production curbs through 2024, limiting daily production to 40.4 million barrels, 1.4 million barrels less than it is now, at the 35th OPEC and OPEC+ ministerial meeting in Vienna.
In addition to the earlier production reduction of 500,000 barrels per day announced in April,
Saudi Arabia, the largest oil producer in the world, will reduce its oil production by one million barrels per day beginning in July.
